Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ’s

What exactly is the Inspired at Home Community?

Q. Where do I start? We suggest that you first sign up for our newsletter. You can decide how often you want to receive our news, what topics you want to hear about, and where you learn about what’s up at IAH. You will also find us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

Q. What if I’m not feeling very inspired? Perfect. You’ve come to the right place. We get it. Just regular day-to-day life can be challenging. Heck, getting out of bed can be challenging. When that happens, what do you do? We’re hoping that maybe you will say, “I think I need to check-in at Inspired at Home.”

Q. Who are you and what do you do? We are three sisters who love to share our life wisdom. We were raised in a very creative environment. Our Momma Aleene (as in Aleene’s Tacky Glue) encouraged our creativity, thinking outside the box, our outspokenness, our fearlessness (ok, maybe we aren’t always fearless) our inquisitiveness for natural healing, and our pure quirkiness. And for that we are grateful!

Q. What will I find here at Inspired at Home? At IAH, we share our writings that focus on life and wellness. If you like to read, you will want to check out these sections: DIY, Dear Sisters, and Almost Dailies. If you like to listen, check out our podcast. If you like to watch, check out our videos. If you like to craft and create along with us, check out Cool2Craft.

Q. What is the history of Inspired at Home? We first registered the InspiredatHome.com domain in February 2001. Yes, we’ve been at this for a long time. We first started with a monthly e-zine and expanded the website with other writings. Remember, this was before the launch of WordPress, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram. It was just a clunky blogger site. Wow! How times have changed! IAH went silent for many years while the sisters pursued other business ventures but we’ve always been drawn to its heart and soul. The calling came again in May 2021 and so, here we are (again)!

Q: What do you mean by Welcome to the Neighborhood? We want to be the neighbors that you want to grab a cup of tea with. The friends that you go to when you need advice. The sisters you never had. Times are tough these days and it can be challenging to find a community that resonates with you. We hope that community is Inspired at Home.
