How our journey began - the three sisters.

The Inspired at Home sisters have been sharing for quite a while. A quick online search shows that the IAH domain was first created on 2/16/2001. How could it possibly be that we have been birthing, visioning, and revisioning this idea for 20 years! We guess the motto “Never give up!” applies very clearly here.

We grew up in a VERY creative environment. As the three daughters of Aleene, the queen of crafting (as in Aleene’s Tacky Glue), we were encouraged at a very young age to express ourselves creatively.

Filling in the time gaps for the last decades would take pages and pages, so suffice it to say that everything that we learned about crafting and life and creativity is re-birthed and re-visioned through Inspired at Home.

At its launch in 2001, we produced a monthly IAH online magazine to share our ideas. Oh goodness! How different it was back then to try to produce an online publication. Since that time, IAH morphed through podcasts, videos, and books, and at various times, life got in the way and took us off the path.

We guess it’s time to actually introduce ourselves. We are Candace, Heidi & Tiffany and we would like to say WELCOME to Inspired at Home. This current re-birth of IAH came about from a conversation between Candace and Tiffany about Candace’s business and newsletter. Tiffany could hear a voice speaking to her that it was clearly time to dig into the archives, dust them off, and re-launch Inspired at Home.

We look forward to meeting all you wonderful journeyers at Inspired at Home.

The three sisters,

Candace, Heidi & Tiffany
