Banana Pie

Dear Sisters: I baked banana pie today. Now I understand why they tell you to temper the egg yolks before you add them to the warm custard. Did you know that when you don't temper the yolks that they turn to scrambled eggs? I didn't tell anyone because it still tasted the same. They seemed to enjoy their banana cream pie.
