![]() My project pick this week is from theartfulcrafter.com. This Ribbon Fish is the custest! I'm thinking almost 40 years ago, I used to make these very cool ribbon fish. By simply weaving colorful strips of ribbon, we would create a dimensional fish and then hang them together to create a mobile. I had forgotten how to make them so I'm very excited to find this tutorial! >>Heidi |

project pick this week comes from

(That's us!) The project I picked is
Style Stone Bracelets
by Heidi Borchers.
These bracelets are a favorite craft class at our studios.
The resin "stones" are decorated with rubberstamping in
layers using rubber stamp ink and then heat dryed. This
technique is quite beautiful and really fun to do! >>Candace

Alexa
Westerfield is a crafter, graphic designer, trend
and idea spotter and blogger! She has utilized her creative
skills as a graphic designer for both DecoArt, Inc. and
iLoveToCreate. She provides lots of inspirational ideas for
the iLoveToCreate blogs and social media sites with the goal
of inspiring others to share in the joy of creativity. Alexa
will be sharing what goes into planning 24 hours of crafts in
24 hours as well as give a sneak peak at some of the
projects and tips she will be sharing for Halloween
- 24 Projects in 24 Hours along with sharing
about Terrorific Tuesdays. Check out Alexa's blog -
Ann
Butler has found through her past 20+ years of
creative expression that her favorite thing to do is
teaching. She has learned many things that can make teaching
profitable and she will be sharing her tips with you! Ann
works with a variety of mediums and loves to mix mediums
within a project. Her designs have appeared in
multi-authored books, magazines, booklets, tradeshow booths
and websites. She has a regular column in
brain! Rosemary is easy to grow in warm climates but more
challenging in cold climates. Rosemary, of course, is a
wonderful culinary herb that is used in many meat, fish and
poultry recipes and I love to make rosemary potatoes as they
are simply delicious. Rosemary can also be added to soups
and stews so be sure you have lots of rosemary in your spice
cupboard. Medicinally, rosemary really shines as it is so
great for improving circulation, helps digestion, eases
muscle aches and pains, stimulates the flow of blood to your
head and scalp so it is good for your hair and for memory
issues! Rosemary is a good tonic herb that assists your
entire body to just be healthier!>>Candace

This
week's Challenge Heidi project was
submitted by Jean Mardus from Vancouver, Canada. Jean asked
Heidi what she would make from the plastic storage
containers from the grocery store that hold
lettuce, greens, spring mix and spinach. What did Heidi
make?
