My project pick this week comes
from
www. thriftyfun.com. I found this
Plastic Bag Hooked Rug by Barb Grow
from Rothbury, MI while stumbling one evening this past week
and thought it was a great recycling idea. No matter how
many times I try to remember to take my own bags when I go
shopping, I sometimes forget and end up with the 'paper or
plastic' question. I switch off my choices 'cause I love
brown bags too!! (Lots of recycling ideas for those! This
project is perfect for those of us who don't knit or
crochet, because it's hooked. >>Heidi |
My
project pick this week comes from
www.inspiredathome.com
(That's us!) The project I picked is
Paper Gift
Boxes by Heidi Borchers. Do you need a special
box or box size for an extra special gift? They're
easy to make and really pretty and will definitely make your
gift giving more personal and special. Personalize your
boxes with pretty embellishments and they become a gift in
and of themselves! >>Candace |

Impatient,
imperfect and impetuous,
feels that if it's not fun, it's simply
not worth doing. She
invites people to not only think outside the box, but to
tear it up, repurpose it into something fabulous and stand
on it to reach for the stars. She's equally comfortable at
the writer's desk, in the design studio, onstage or in front
of the camera. On this show, Margot will will talking about

Dean
Saether has been involved in ceramics since
childhood. Growing up and attending elementary school 4
miles from the Duncan facility allowed him to experience
Duncan Ceramic Arts products for the first time when he was
7 years old. He has always had a love of the ceramic arts
and this love led him to employment at Duncan
Enterprises, now
he shares his insights into
this magical ancient art which is accessible to people with
varying levels of creativity.
herb. Sage was once considered to have potent magical
powers. Sage really shines in its medicinal uses as it is a
powerful healing plant. Sage is astringent, antiseptic,
anti-fungal, anti-spasmodic and contains plant estrogen.
Garden sage is a wonderful herb for the wise woman who is
having issues in menopause. Sage tea is wonderful for hot
flashes in your menopausal years. Sage is a great tea for
those winter colds and flu as it soothes the throat and
helps with its expectorant properties for those coughs. In
the kitchen, sage is great for stuffings, good with meat,
pork, sausage and cheese. Plant sage in your garden as it is
easy to grow and has such great medicinal and culinary uses.
