My project pick this week comes www.rose-bushes.com
Years ago, we used to take rose petals and make beads.
I had totally forgotten about them until I saw this site.
Aren't these cool - they're
rose beads made from the rose petals. At this
site,
they also have a section on how to dry roses. But the
beads are amazing and if I remember correctly, when you make
them, they smell heavenly.

project pick this week comes from

(That's us!) It's the
Paper Flower & Button Frame
by Tiffany Windsor. I love this project because the flower
used was a product pick I made awhile ago from AC Moore. The
flower came from a really neat book of paper flowers from K
& Co. that we
just love! Once you make one flower, you can't stop but the
great thing is that you can put this flower on so many
surfaces! >>Candace |

My
project pick this week comes from

Maria
Nerius is

Susan
Bell is a professional artist who owns the
people to haul the horse manure away. Since she makes her
living as a professional artist, she decided that since the
art that was currently considered really "important" was, in
her own words, "just sh-t", she should utilize her own
continuous supply of resources and make art out of it!
Dung
Bunnies are garden sculpture made from composted horse
manure. They are 100% recycled material and are very good as
slow release fertilizer for the garden, especially roses.
Lorine
Mason ventured into the world of crafts at a very
young age like so many of us. She started Lorine
Mason Designs in 2001 after years of working her
way through a number of retail management and educational
positions. She is the author of three books with her fourth
through six on the horizon in late 2009 and early 2010.
While identifying herself as a multi-media artist her sewing
machine seems to be her main focus lately. In this week's
show, Lorine will be talking about the gold mine of fabric,
buttons and accessories in your thrift store just waiting to be purchased by a creative person such as yourself. It might
not look exactly like the yardage or the card of buttons you
are used to buying at your local fabric store but you will
be amazed at just what is possible without spending a ton of
money.

My pick this week is
