Knit Wrap from FaveCrafts.com My pick this week from FaveCrafts.com is this beautiful Chunky Knitted Long Wrap by Patons. For those of you who listened to last week's "after the show" discussion, I asked the group "What is one crafting technique that you have never tried?". When it came time for me to answer, I said that I wanted to learn how to knit! I had tried knitting as a teenager but just couldn't get the hang of it so I switched to crochet - which I LOVE! But now, I want to learn how to knit! So, I'm printing this pattern off and taking it to my local yarn shop and say "this is what I want to make!" >>Tiffany

My project pick this week comes from www.feltorama.com. This site has fibers for modern crafters. Anything you could possibly want in the way of felt, they have it! My project pick this week comes from www.inspiredathome.com (That's us!) I love how Heidi has repurposed Bread Tags into cool Jewelry. Bread tabs are those little plastic thingies that keep the loaf of bread sealed in its wrapper. This beautiful necklace and earrings are stunning and no will know (until you tell them) that you repurposed your bread tags. >>Candace

When Brenda Pinnick was on the show recently, she mentioned that she would be posting a link on her blog to a pdf download of Some Fun Summer Color Palettes. Just in case you missed the link - here it is! GO>>

Eileen Hull tells us that she has a new line of Sizzix dies called Scoreboards. There are eight designs and the fun and innovative thing about them is that they are specially designed to cut and score matboard and chipboard. The designs include a gift card/business card box, frame, notepad box, post it note holder, ATC box, checkbook cover, box with lid and cupcake ruffle. Look for them on Sizzix.com- coming soon!

Dee Gruenig was planning to retire, but she now is providing designs and ideas under license to a wonderful rubber stamp company, Stamp A Mania, owned by Mark and Cynthia Stansell. Dee tells us that "they just do too good a job and are too much fun to say "No" to. We are grateful to have them added to the other two companies we serve, All Night Media and Sunday International." In an unusual agreement, all three companies have given permission in agreements to work with the others. Dee Gruenig's Posh Designs should appear by mid- September. Also, Dee will appear at two stamping shows for the Rubber Stamp Events company in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 31 and November 1 and Mesa, Arizona (near Phoenix) on November 7 & 8.

Last week, we talked about clutter in our lives. This week, now that you have gotten rid of all that "stuff" you don’t need, did you uncovered some home décor items that were probably buried under all that Texture Magic on Chair

clutter? I suggest that you try to re-do instead of letting go of tired furniture and accessories. So many accessories can be used and renewed by repainting or just adding some trim or some sort of decoration.

Don’t settle for the same old stuff when you can repurpose your home décor. In crafting, we are many times repurposing supplies and old craft projects. Take it a step forward! Let's say you have a table you like, but it has a serious issue like a burn, or water mark or a big scratch. Look at that piece of furniture with new eyes and make something entirely new out of it or redo it to work in another room.

One great way to change the look of a table, mirror or even a picture frame is to mosaic it. You can completely cover the damage on the piece or just give it a great new look. Paint, of course, can change the look of anything and make it seem new. You can even use Texture Magic dimensional paint from Delta Creative to stencil wonderful designs on a table, or chair or any accessory. Hey! We are all crafters; we can craft our home décor rather than just staining it or getting rid of it. There are so many new products and techniques that help make your old furniture new so get on your thinking cap this week and re do your home décor. >>Candace

My pick for the final few is www.ourbestbites.com. I found this site through StumbleUpon. I actually first stumbled upon a tutorial where they dyed Easter eggs from old silk ties, but when I clicked to their site, I could never find the Easter eggs :( BUT, this is a great site for how-to cooking -- how-to hard boil the perfect egg, how-to cut a mango, how-to make homemade croutons -- plus hundreds more how-to's. My pick this week is Color Power: Top Tips For Enhancing Every Area of Your Life Through Color by Philippa Merivale. We all love color but how much do we really know about color. My pick for the final few today is from Clover Needlecraft. They have all sorts of really neat tools and the one that caught my eye today is the Flower Knot Template from their Asian Knot Template collection. Look at how easy they have made this knotting technique. Just follow the guide and you can quickly create these flower knots for your home decor and crafting projects! >>Tiffany
