I
have a whole bin of Friendly Plastic at the Studio so when I
found this
Spirit of the Heart Necklace on FaveCrafts.com, I was so
excited! I have always loved Friendly Plastic but I had
kinda forgotten about it lately. But, I'm going to pull it
out and get to creating!>>Candace |
My
pick from FaveCrafts.com is
Finger Friends by Kathleen George for Styrofoam Brand
Foam. Using Styrofoam balls, chenille stems and some cute
embellishments and wiggle eyes, her kid-friendly critters
come to life. With the kids looking for a fun and easy
project to create this summer, this is the perfect pick! >>Tiff |

This
darling
Scallop Heart Sachet is my pick from
Sizzix
this week. Created with the Sizzix Bigz Die - Heart with
Scallop, this sachet would be easy to make by the
dozen. Fill them with your favorite aromatic herb - my pick
would definitely be lavender - and you have a really sweet
gift. >>Tiff |

The
Beadery has been a major manufacturer and supplier
of absolutely gorgeous plastic beads for years. They have
thousands of different shapes and colors of beads. First you
need to check out their website. Just the photos of the
beads gets me drooling! Then check out their projects page.
You will find Elements jewelry idea sheets with all the
step-by-step instructions with illustrations. One can never
have too much bling!>>Heidi |
We
love art canvas and we love to get others to try crafting on
art canvas.
Canvas Concepts has a little gallery of projects you can
make. From scrapbookers who want to go outside their comfort
of album pages and try home decor, this is a great place to
start! >>Candace |
My
project pick this week comes from
ohdeedoh.com. This
Rooster Wall Art is fabric that has been cut into the
rooster silhouette and "adhered" to the wall with
liquid starch. That way, when you need to take it
down, you just peel the fabric off, wash the walls and
you're ready to make a change. Cool!

My
project pick this week comes from

Dee
Gruenig was one of the first to introduce stamping
to the public over 30 years ago. Along the way she appeared
on TV about 100 times with early appearances on Aleene's
Creative Living Television and ABC's Home Show. She was a
regular on the Carol Duvall Show for 10 years, owned 6 award
winning stamp stores, made 10 commercial videos, a book
called The Great Rubber Stamp Book that sold 293,000 copies
and appeared regularly at craft shows and conventions. She
and her husband Warren own
Impressions.

Candace's herban living feature this week is the herb
dandelion. This is the most misunderstood herb (aka weed)
that we have available to us. It is in almost everyone's
yard and many spend tons of money and lots of pesticides to
get rid of this weed/herb. Dandelions are a fabulous tonic
herb filled with nutrition and they are medicinal. Did
you know that until the mid-1800's, dandelions were
encouraged to grow in yards so they could be easily
harvested for treating a variety of ailments.
My
final few pick this week is
