Orange is a color representing power, boldness, and inspiration. It is believed to aid in healing and stimulate the appetite for food. It symbolizes energy, enthusiasm, and creativity. And orange is said to be a lucky color. Orange is a warm color filled with curiosity and whimsy. Orange in a garden will visually come forward from a landscape. It's a complimentary color that begs to stand out and be seen. Native Americans associate orange with kinship, while in China and Japan the color orange is used to symbolize happiness and love. Orange is the national color of Netherland yet for Christians, orange represents excess and gluttony. In the United States orange is used for high alert and used a s a safety color for traffic cones, scuba diver's safety sausages, and construction barrels. |
